    Hey just a technical question. If for example I make a map using all HD models (some made custom) in the New Warcraft 3. Is it even technically possible for someone with the old Warcraft 3 models. Do the HD models just transform to HQ ones despite them never having a original HQ Warcraft 3 form?

    I see, guess gotta design the gameplay around it. Unit lag is not really an issue when fighting but rather chasing. Hence why I reckon Hit and run factions generally tend to be broken in macro maps. Also just another question does lag increase for example if you choose a group 12 to Attack someone instead of group of 2 or is the lag just depended on how many units you have in the field?

    Not sure about that, if you give an attack order, there shouldn't be any additional lag as there doesn't seem to be any formation mechanics in it, not so different from selecting each individually and then issuing the attack.

    oh i see, nobody uses formation anyways. I guess unit lag is something you can't solve and gotta design your way around. Thanks for the info btw.

    I need help with something, I was making a map for fun and I wanted to make a trigger that spawned the Burning Oil effect and blight on ground where the target of Pheonix Fire missiles is standing, all my attempts seem to fail, can you help?

    You'll find plenty of people making complex triggers on Hive !
    Whether it is fun or not really depends on how motivated are you. When I'm motivated I enjoy the work a lot, when I'm not, it is a bit boring.
    And since you are interested, I think you'll have fun if you try.
