Zuldare and Crestfall. Both start under Kultiran goverment, Cyrus Crestfall will start in Crestfall with a small kultiran fleet and army. These islands are a great point to control Baradin Bay and hold the orcs in Arathi, its also a good point from where invade Gilneas or Senjin Isle.

Northren Lordaeron has been updated. Now SH owns a farm there, the living wood is more "natural" and Heathglen has been expanded, now the city also has Mardenholde Keep wich starts under SH control, what makes the full settlement have 2+1 capturable points. Now the city is bigger, allows better movement and also can be sieged better from the south.

If Cult of the Damned manages to conquer Andorhal, they could send infected grain shipments from the Royal Granary of Andorhal to Heartglen, what would spawn undead infected citiziens there. If u send the plagued grain while u send an assault force from Andorhal, the spawned zombies would be a great help to break the walls and win the siege... Like in lore :)

Nazjatar finished. The stronghold of the naga, where Nzoth is hided. There are several beaches in the "islad", but only 2 ways to enter into the ethernal palace of Azshara. Even if this is safe spot where nzoth could be safe, far away from enemies in the middle of the sea, its also a wasteland, there are no resources left to exploit here, so the nagas would be forced to attack the coasts of Lordaeron for survive.

Finished Wetlands & Northeron, the safe starting area of Dwarven Clans:

In the west there is a dwarven farm, some creeps and the living forest of the wetlands.

upload_2019-4-22_2-12-20.png

Later we have Dun Modr city guarding Thandol Bridge, a storng shock point to stop the Horde in case they try to go south:

upload_2019-4-22_2-13-12.png

In the center of the area, controling the pass trough the mountains from west to east, there is Grim Batol, the former capital of the Wildhammer Clan that now is overrun by the Dark Horde, if the Dwarven Clans wants to control the south and protect both of their fortresses there, they should try to retake their fallen citadel.

upload_2019-4-22_2-15-1.png

Further in the east we find more horde creep camps, a suitable beach for troll landings or a future dwarven port, and a small dwarven village: Thundermar.

upload_2019-4-22_2-16-20.png

Finally, in the eastern corner of the area, we find Kirthaven, where part of the wildhammer clan scaped after the falling of Grim Batol, this safe spot is one of the easiest to defend ingame (the opposite to Aerie Peak) and will surely be a Haven for DC faction... Unless the trolls or the horde manage to create a proper fleet and invade them.

Since some people has asked me in private about it, i will say it here for everyone: the tests have already started.

Whole alliance is completly done and able to be tested: stats, costs, skills, upgrades, shortcuts, tooltips... Everthing. I just miss elites and maybe add some few more upgrades/skills for flavour.

I will add horde and trolls to the testing avialable factions soon. But before, i fosuced in some events coding, i have improved Arathi and Hillsbrad and finished the "Orcish Liberation" events, both horde clans can capture the intermnent camps and release the orcs inside them to get reinforcements. Frostwolf Clan also gets a hero (Nazgrel) in Southshore and they might "steal boats" from the alliance.

The last creation has been the complete adition of "Stratholme Purge" event: Mal'ganis can bring plagued grain to the city (he stole some plague from Cult chauldrons according to lore), once he releases it there, everyone will know it, but it might be late... All the citiziens are infected, but still at home, and like in w3 campaign, both alliance and undeads must rush to break those houses: alliance to kill the zombies in small affordable groups, and undeads to join them in a swarm that might overrun the defenders.

If Malganis or his allies manage to conquer the 3 strongholds of Stratholme: Silver Hand Head Quarters, Alonsus Chapel and Stratholme itself, the dreadlord will be victorious, geting a power up and becoming revivable forever. But if the Alliance manages to purge all undead presence from the city before it falls to the enemy corruption, Malganis will be defeated and Arthas will get a boost instead.

The city belongs to three different alliance factions: First Legion (Stratholme), Silver Hand (SH HQ) and The Eastweald (Alonsus Chapel). So they will fight together for sure to protect it. To face this great defences, Malganis will always count with the infected citiziens, but a coordinated defence will surely be able to purge them properly, so he should count with his own army for this battle... Or his allies ones. House Barov can launch "Rivendare betrayal" whenever they want, to get Rivendare hero and some troops in his town, close to Stratholme (lore), and CotD can conquer Andorhal to send plagued grain from the Royal Granaries there to several towns of Lordaeron, spawning zombies among the poor citiziens... Also, Malganis and CotD cultists are able to place plague chauldrons in human farms to turn them into undead and create deception and some undeads.

So the "best strategy" might be to harass the alliance all across lordaeron, with deception and corruption, making arthas, SH and Eastweald to be focused in other fronts, and then, launch a coordinated attack to Startholme. But... You can always go straightforward and butcher them all together, more food for the ghouls.

There will be tests soon to check that "Stratholme purge" works properly, so if you are interested, join us in the discord :)

Stratholme polished, ready for its purge:

upload_2019-5-2_8-15-2.png

The rest of the Easttweald has been reworked, now its ready for release, i hope u all like it and enjoy playing it ;)

Northdale. Close to Stratholme, this Easweald village will be a good base to cover one of the ways to the city, also, is a good point from where travel to Northren Lordaeron, and the Greenwood forest is really close to the town, what allows Eastweald faction a nice early chopping. The small and lonely house close to Thorondil river is Tirion Fordring cottage, he has gone there to live his exile. If the Horde comes close to it, Warsong would get Eitrigg as hero.

upload_2019-5-2_8-17-16.png

In southern Eastweald we find Darrowshire. A small town but with more buildings than usual, Marris Stead is a simple farm close to the town, but the home of Nathanos Marris, one of the Eastweald heroes. From here you can go trough the moutains to the Greenwood forest, to the west to Andorhal or Caer Darrow and to the east to Corings Crossing, that makes Darrowshire an important point to control the movement of troops, what may make the poor town target of assaaults...

upload_2019-5-2_8-21-25.png

In the south east we find Coring's Crossing, an important crossroads and main base of the Eastweald. From this prosperous trading town you can go to Tyr's Hand, Light's Hope Chapel, Darrowshire, or cross the river to the north to find the passages to Zul Aman and Quelthalas.

upload_2019-5-2_8-23-6.png

The north east is controled from Eastdale. Another Eastweald town (this faction owns small villages instead of big cities, what would make them have to track their enemies since they cant turtle in a big stronghold). This hidden village might seem safe in the mountains, but the path to Zul Aman is close and the trolls may try to seize it.

upload_2019-5-2_8-24-17.png

And finally in the north we find Blackwood and its Lord: Othmar Garithos. While he was fighting the trolls to protect the elves in southern eversong forests, some trolls came and burnt his unprotected lands, Some of his vassals saved their lifes crossing the river to Coring's Crossing, but the keep was destroyed and his whole family murdered. When he came back from war and saw the disaster, he vowed to avenge them. Now, the orcs have been expeled and Garithos has started to rebuild his site, he and his experienced soldiers are the only professional and well trained troops in the eastweald, so all the hunters and traders have looked for him as leader in this times of peril, eager to fulfill his oath, he has accepted his task and will fight till end for Lordaeron and mankind.

I have added ended the coding of whole buildings and units, i just need to check non alliance buildings have the proper upgrades and their units use them properly.

I also added more events and improved some a bit, for example Malganis starts in Scholomance, where he as stolen "Blight Essence" (lore) from the chauldrons were the cultists are working, cause he doesnt trust Kelthuzzad to plague Lordaeron. With that item, he will be able to plague Lordaeron Farms (as cultists from CotD). If he manages to plague a farm, he can use an "Empty Basket" to gather infected grain from the plague farm, he will be gathering it for several seconds, in wich he can be attacked and killed, but if he manages to gather the grain, he will get "Infected Grain" instead. Whenever Mal'ganis is inside Stratholme, he can use the infected grain to start Stratholme Purge event and turn all the "Stratholme Buildings" (the green houses in the picture above) to his faction, these houses, when destroyed (they are invulnerable till now to avoid exploiters) will spawn its poor inhabitants, now zombies.

Remember that Mal'ganis has a skill (w) that allows him to become invisible, and one of his basic skills (f) allows him to tp away, so he will be squishy for sure, and a pain in the ass for lordaeron farmers.

If you have any other idea for events, feel free to share them all ;)

Some more reworked and final terrain:

Durnholde Keep. A Lordaeron keep, not big or rich city, but an important base for the faction since it is its main stronghold in the south and where the alliance will try to hold the horde. Also holds an intermnet camp and is where Aedelas Blackmoore starts.

upload_2019-5-3_0-19-35.png

Frostwolf Village. The biggest city in Alterac Mountains, and an important stronghold for the Horde. Is the main base of the Frostwolf Clan and where Drekthar starts the game. Its a well defended base in the heart of the mountains, and can be easily guarded since it only has 1 pass to cover trough the valleys and hills of Alterac.

upload_2019-5-3_0-21-10.png

Caer Darrow. This keep was built as an outpost for mankind during the ancient Troll Wars, it was later destroyed to be finally restored by House Barov, who made it its family seat. Now, they have grown strong and rich, with bigger lands and settlement across the realm, but the new taxes of King Terenas has made all those lands means more gold to pay, Alexei Barov accepted to pay cause he thought the orcs he would be feeding would be used as slave labor in his fields, but Terenas forbiden it... While he kept asking for gold... House Menethil has exploted the Barovs one last time, Kelthuzzad offered Alexei the realm in exchange of housing his cultists, and the vengeful lord accepted. Now, in the crypts of Caer Darrow, the great and dark city of Scholomance stirs full of evil schemes...

Some pics of Scholomance, the main stronghold of Cult of the Damned and the safest base of undeads in whole Lordaeron at early game. While House Barov has uprised against House Menethil, and they will suffer the war in their cities, Kelthuzzad has created a new religion among the peasants and farmers of Lordaeron, a new cult, the Cult of the Damned, wich talks about Nerzhul, the god of dead. This cult is still hidden, and alliance is unaware of its existance, so Kelthuzzad and his troops will be safe below Caer Darrow... For now.

In Scholomance there is an entrance to the great and ancient halls below the keep, wich leads to this other point:

upload_2019-5-3_8-58-31.png

Those tombs are well cared, since they are the former crypts and tombs of House Barov, and they always took care of them. But soon, you see what have been doing Kelthuzad here...

upload_2019-5-3_9-0-39.png

His zombies and acolites have been capturing the poor servants of House Barov, few souls live in Caer Darrow now, most of them rot in the jails and cells benehath...

upload_2019-5-3_9-1-59.png

And those who are in jail could call themselves lucky. Since a worse fate awaits them all: being victims of all kind of torture and depravation by Kelthuzzad's necromancers. They will serve to make dark experiments, and their rests will feed the ghouls...

upload_2019-5-3_9-10-9.png

And finally, Scholomance itself, a massive and ancient crypt that Kelthuzzad has reshaped into a cathedral-like building where his acolytes can worship Nerzhul. And in the adjacent chapels, instead of praying to great warriors or heroes, all kind of evilness takes part: feeding monstruosities with blight and human flesh, studying forbidden tomes about necromancy that any mage of Dalaran will burn without doubt, sacrificing peasants to leave their bodies as gift for monsters and, maybe the most dangerous one, use the knowledge learnt from the experiments with humans, to create Plague Chauldrons, infect gran with its essence, and charge the grain into meat wagons to infect with it all the inocent and free peoples of Lordaeron.

As you may see, both Kelthuzzad and Malganis starts the game here. Malganis can leave the crypts using his tp or invisibility to start corrupting Lordaeron himself. Kelthuzzad on the contrary, has not such survivality tools, so he may prefer to stay hiden and safe, while he sends his sneaky acolytes all across Lordaeron to plague farms and proselytize human workers into more acolytes. Once the plague is launched, the acolytes will turn into Cultists, wich are a fully figthing caster, and the Plagued Farms will release the work that have been being done inside them, turning into dangerous Plagued Chauldrons. So the more you plague before you release the plague, the stronger it will be.

I may be wrong but isn't Durnholde under Stromgarde since it was originally oversaw by Danath?

Nope. Arathi Highlands lead to Stromgarde.
You both are right. Danath was the first "leader of the intermnent camps". But it was LOOONG time ago, in the easy development of the camps. Then, they were flooded and Gilneas and Stratholme said "fuck u Terenas", leacing the alliance. So Aedelas Blackmoore became the leader of the intermnent camps instead, under direct rule of Terenas Menethil. @Ardenaso have in mind that when Aedelas finds "baby Thrall" he is already the lord of Durnholde, so Durnholde belongs to Lordaeron 100% for sure at this stage. (and even if it woulnt belong due to lore, i would have given it nevertheless due to balance and gameplay xD).

PD: I have ended coding Alexandros Mograine journey to forge the Ashbringer, all CotD plaguing of towns, improved some more areas like Sthranbrand and found a weird bug, a skill works without its requirements, i will have to check it.

I wanted to say that we have started the tests yesterday. Im adding factions to the global map step by step, now we are focusing in alliance vs horde vs uds. Ofc there is much stuff to add yet, but the game looks great and i really appreciate the help of everyone with these tests. Without them i couldnt balance the game properly, thanks to Adam (and his horde of friends :D), kael, den, and everyone else in the discord!

We will keep hosting this balance tests whenever posible, adding and fixing stuff step by step. If everyone wants to help and join us, you are welcome to the discord and the games.

As u may notice looking at those pics, lots of new events have been added:
- Once Stratholme purge ends, Arthas can travel to Northrend looking for vengeance. Getting 1 base (Vengeance landing or Valgarde).
- The Dwarven Clans can launch the Explorers Expedition too, geting Muradin as hero and Baelgun's Site base.
- During Northrend Duel both Malganis and Arthas are unrevivable, and the duel ends when one of them dies.
- Arthas can pic up the frostmourne (if the uds allow him, since the shrine is deep in northrend), to get more power, but condemning his soul.
- If Arthas kills malganis without sword, he goes back safe to home and is empowered.
- If Arthas kills malganis with the sword, he goes alone into Northrend, just with Frostmourne... And Nerzhul gets him as hero. You can get Gavinrad the Dire to replace him.
- If Arthas is killed, nerzhul gets him too, u can get gavinrad too, BUT Malganis will stay alive forever (revivable).

I want to point out that tuskarr and taunka towns are just doddads to make the map prettier. They are unconquerable, simple creeps.
On the other hand, Utgarde Keep and Gjalerbron are conquerable, but they give no food. They are vrykul bases where slumbering vrykuls sleep and will be useful only for Nerzhul faction (to unlock King Ymiron for example).

More events to talk about:
- The alliance can conquer Wintergarde Keep (the important ud base Arthas conquered in W3 for some misions), getting a base there, is a nice strategy if u want to pic frostmourne.
- The Dwarven Clans can conquer old iron dwarf bases to make researches: Dun Argol and Thor Modan will become dwarven bases once alliance conquers them.
- The Alliance can rise 2 shared bases for dwarves and arthas: Fort Wildervar, a nice spot for mining operations. And Westguard Keep.

Other cool events and paths added are:
- SH can go "The Crusade" if Uther dies or the Purge has ended. Arthas disbanded the Order during the purge, and Alexandros and Others formed the crusade to fight the undeads. The Crusade upgrades your priestess.
- The crusade can recruit Isilien, the Gran Inquisitor, if Uther has died.
- Later, the Crusade can go zealous and fanatical, becoming "The Scarlet Crusade", upgrading all ur infantry into scarlet troops, and unlocking Renault Mograine (but Abbendis will die of old if he has been not killed yet).
- FL can call Tirion Fordring out of seclusion when Northrend Duel ends, he will restore the Silver Hand Oder (requires The Crusade to have happened).
- FL can go Argent Crusade after restoring the SH Order, if Argent Dawn has happened.

And more stuff:
- The Horde releasing the orcs in the interment camps have been improved.
- The Horde gets a reward if they unify all Arathi as was Thrall objective.
- The Horde gets a stronghold in Stromgarde whenever they conquer it.

And much more!
