Lore: Arosia is one of the many continents in the world of Aldarond, taking the form of a large island far away from other lands. There are multiple factions and places in this continent:
The Empire is ruled over by Emperor Adrian Moris II, the empire is filled with green forests, cities, castles and villages. Its lands are mostly inhabited by humans, but there are other races living here, such as their neighboring elves, dwarves and gnomes.
The Dominion is ruled over by High Counciler Honriil Athahl. These magical green forests are inhabited by wood elves, while the larger cities within are inhabited by high elves. There are some other elven races living in The Dominion, but most other races are not allowed to live here, or even enter. Only elves have free access past their border walls.
The Tribal Lands are ruled over by the new High Chieftan, Grom'gar. These desert lands are the home of many dangerous creatures. Orcs, Trolls and Ogres call this place their home. These ruthless lands are not kind to outsiders. Most people who have tried traveling through the deserts have not come back alive.
The Dead Sea is ruled by nobody. These swamp lands and dead forests are inhabted by the scum of this continent. Bandits, necromancers, demon worshipers and more reside here, scheming. The only place of order in these lands is Karak Dur, the last Dwarven city.


Introduction: The continent of Arosia is at war, The Empire and The Dominion have made an uneasy alliance to stand together against the invading war parties from The Tribal Lands. The Empire is on the offensive, but The Dominion has barely set a step outside of the walls protecting their borders. Many residents of The Dead Sea use this oppurtunity to spread chaos and grow in power. Meanwhile, the strange mist that has been covering the unexplored island in the north has been getting thinner, and a scouting party has confirmed that, after many years, the island can be reached once again. The Empire is preparing an expedition, hoping to find something that will change the tides of war in their favor.

Although this setting is open world, meaning you can go and do whatever you want, there are 3 main plot points to follow.
The Expedition: Players can go the the previously unexplored island to the north west, and uncover ancient secrets. Nothing is known about this island, but it's safe to say it will be very dangerous.
The War: Players can join the war parties to the south, to fight against the orc threat, either as soldier or mercenary. Although you will be with the army, the orcs will not be easy to take down, they have the safety of their camps and strongholds, and their armies are more than capable of putting up a good fight.
The Guild: The adventurers guild is always looking for daring adventurers, willing to put their life on the line for their home. There may be a war, but The Empire's land still needs protection from within. After proving yourself, you may even find yourself among the very rare parties daring to step foot in the dead sea.

Setting: Your character can come from this world, or another of your choosing. Coming from this world gives you the advantage of knowing a bit more about the world, but it restricts your character to certain things, such as races, classes and backstory. You can ask me if the character you have in mind would fit with this world should you want to. Characters from other worlds will spawn somewhere in a forest in The Empire. You still have all your memories, and know exactly what it is you were during before you got here. There was no warning or indication for your transport to this world, you just suddenly were, in the blink of an eye. Most races and classes are allowed as long as they don't go to crazy. However, Sci-Fi is not allowed, and by that I mean technology more advanced than this world holds. But, if you want to be a race from star wars with a mastery of the force, that's fine, go ahead. But you won't be wielding a light saber, nor even know about it.

Players: For now I won't put a max on players, and will simply (and saddly) not allow more players to join once I think I simply can't handle more, but I will put a max on the ammount of characters someone can have at once, which is 3. Although, for the sake of my sanity, I do ask you keep it at 1 or 2.

Im fucking in.
I have experience of DnD, Ive been playing casual DnD with my friends for years, tho we had stopped recently. by "casually" i mean we have the books, but we dont really use them.
Tho I have almost no exprience in online roleplay so you will have to forgive me if i act stupid sometimes. But im very excited and willing to join and try.

k so i'ma just confirm you dbk... Also yes! A whole new victi- I mean player. But on a more serious note, you're more than welcome to join us in our quest for finding the most horrible ways for something to die ;). (I am half joking. expect alot of memes. Possibly to many.)

A question about the world, how does religion takes place in island? How is it treated in the Empire, or among the elves?

Well it would depend on the religion, the world has its own gods, but you're allowed to believe in whatever you want as long as it doesn't promote harmful behavior or something like that. In The Dominion it's best to keep quiet about it unless you believe in one of their gods, it may get you in trouble depending on the people. Also i'm gonna add a questions forum for stuff like this... prob good to have. Though feel free to DM me aswell, either through discord or the forum.
