It is with honor that I present to you the first version of LTA that has been edited by @Hahay @richardik and @ZeroFlotsie

This process has been started by editing from LTA 1.51 since that was the most popular and most well rounded version that there has been. For now the only changes that have been made are stability bug fixes and very slight balance changes.

Ofcourse a lot of versions have been released after 1.51 with some good and some bad content, so I ask you what things of post 1.51 would you like to see reintroduced or do you feel the game misses. We will take everything into consideration.

For now here is the bug fixes, the download link will be at the bottom of this post. If you don find at any new bugs or think you've found a crash please do report! So we can get on to fixing it ASAP.

Changelog

  • Events prone to crash have been revised and fixed
  • Games will now always start at the second turn, between mode selection and game start you are able to make control groups
  • A camera command has been added ( -cam X, X with a minimum distance of 1000 and a maximum of 2500)
  • Gargoyle attack/defense research tooltip has been fixed
  • Fixed some units from getting stuck between walls and building after being trained
  • Sylvanas her Dark arrow ( item ) now correctly deals extra damage to the Lich King and stuns Arthas
  • Scourge shades now have true sight once again, finally useful
  • Towering up nether has been prevented, no more immortal legion sitting on 30 towers
  • Buildings can no longer be build near the undercity portal.
  • Gates can no longer be rebuild (temporarily) but their hp has been increased by 1000, this to prevent the famous 1000 gates bug
  • Legion gateways to Alterac and Northrend can no longer be destroyed
  • Draenor rifts are no longer healed to full health after being attacked by legion himself
  • Ironforge no longers heals to full when attacked by dwarves or allies
  • Azjol Nerub will now always go into blue his control regardless of who lasthits Nerubian Grand Vizier
  • Dragonmaw casters will no longer infinitely cast spirit touch to drain their own mana (probably fixed)
  • Blood elves now have to clear Silvermoon of all enemies before being able to restore Silvermoon, the same counts for Trolls
  • Wisps are no longer consumed after creating a building
  • Fixed some tooltips
  • Frozen Throne repair speed increased

hey zero :) i have quistion i tested this map singleplayer as dragonmaw and i couldten summon nefarion even tho i used cheat on rend to become lvl 15

and it said nef wanna talk to rend? ;)

also why would dragonmaw ally fel horde when get no demi heroes

but if he ally dark iron he get deathwing faceless general chogall is not demi but good

and that stupid base yogg that can spawn barracks on maps

and dark iron as ally is stronger than fel horde

like is there any reason to ally fel horde you cant even get grull or nefarion


and why cant you get grull like ltf cant you just copy grull from ltf paste to lta :)

sry zeroflostie :) i tested both dark and fel in ltf and lta

but now i tested them both in new version and everything works fine

the alliance is op again not like in older version where there is no deathing and no nef since brown has rend but he cant summon nef

only mag

now fel can get all both mag and nef like old

so everything worked fine when i tested dark in single player

but when i tried dragonmaw i couldten summon deatwhing i used drakosh it said near deathwing resting i start the spell to summon him and it just stop after 2 sec



but i like these version so much more other version dark horde and dragonmaw feels complete useless compared to other alies dark horde or fel horde could get

but now you made it strong so dragonmaw dönt have only one path to choose and that is twillight now he can stay fel horde

I am happy work on LTA starts again.


For blue and grey:

Good stuff:
- Blue is no longer unkillable as killing Throne or LK doesn't crash the game

Bad stuff:
- Blue elites are useless again (no raise dead spell)
- I am missing zombie killing enemy creates another zombie
- only ghouls can make wood, they are expansive (16 gold)
- missing Dark Han summon zombie spell on base
- not sure but grey can not raise dead demi-heroes (?)

Poor Troll no proper base again.

But what the hell Dalaran is back!

you cant summon deathwing with drakosh

tested single player

while i tested dark horde everything seems fine

There currently is an issue at the 37/40 minute mark that makes the game crash. Due to memory usage we trying hard to figure out what is specifically causing it!

I wonder whether you're going to transition some of the post-1.51 terrain changes. Most were made to reduce the importance of choke-points (by either enlarging them or making additional ones). I assume, that's a bad direction? After all, choosing a great place for defence is a skill.

Testing in single player makes no sense as a lot of stuff dont work in single player
Put computer players in each slot. That fixes quite a few bugs concerning events, heroes and units. Sadly at the cost of the AI using it's protocols, so units will move back to where they came from if there is no room, heroes and units will cast abilities, transports will move on their own 70% of the time etc.

Also. It is indeed a bug that Nefarian can't be summoned. It isn't just the Single Player being buggy.

It says ingame that if Sylvanas is killed by blue then pink and blue become allies, but it never happens what am I doing wrong?
P.S. What about Risen path? Is it working now?

So Nerzhul's Forsaken was disabled a while ago, and we are not sure what to do about it as is. And risen has been disabled aswell!

Might be a good idea to give orange and demi in outland, sence both Legion and illdari have strong ones, just to make a bit more fair.

What about Wretched being unable to join Scourge? As far as i can remember, they did not receive the option in a Town Hall anymore.
