Hello and this time for real we will see the 0.56 Changelog. Major things here are a touch up on the worgen faction who got quite a rework and nerfs to the early alliance gameplay. Additonal to that LordUther designed a new path for the Dwarven Faction : United Dwarven Clans

General:


- Cenarion Refuge now has Night Elf creeps with a (+5) Tome
- Apexis Crystal now has 4 Arcane Elementals guarding it
- Added a way to kick Alliance Members from the Team when they have left the game. This will reduce Alliance count by 1 and count for broken alliance
- An Alliance Member leaving the game will no longer count towards Broken Alliance
- When Rangers goes Forsaken, Archers will be properly replaced to Highborne variant and Lynx to Swordsmans
- Orb of Fire item Gold Cost reduced from 75 to 45
- Alterac has been reterrained adding additional space for the Dark Horde base. New creep camp added to it
- Troggs who occupied Gnomeregan now have a (+5) Tome

The Grand Alliance:

Silvermoon:

- Anastarian’s Mass Teleport now requires 10 mins to pass
- Swordsman’s Health increased by 100 and cost reduced to 13 gold
- All Elven towers (except Arcane one) now benefit from Iron Swords upgrade instead of Black Gunpowder
- Sorceress Health reduced to 450 from 500
- Sorceress Arcane Missile DMG reduced to 10 from 20 but mana cost decreased to 10 from 16
- Fixed hotkey for Town Hall (H)
- Lady Liadrin got new hero icon
- With every betrayal path control over Quel’Thalas and mystical Sunwell will be transferred to the closest Alliance member:

Ranger Corps ➤ Dalaran ➤ Argent Crusade* ➤ Lordaeron ➤ Ironforge.

*Note: Quel’Thalas will only transfer to Light Blue player if he has chosen Argent Crusade ➤ Draenei Alliance path.

In case an Alliance member who owns Quel’Thalas will start his own betrayal path, the Quel’Thalas will be transferred to another member of the Alliance.

And in case if there is no Alliance member to take up Quel’Thalas (which is almost impossible seeing how popular Alliance is) it will stay with Betrayer Elves.

Sunfury:

- Will no longer require illidari to happen but now 30 minutes to pass
- Does not get double messages when taking Tempest Keep
- Now properly tps all units to the Outland
- Will get a hint about Turtle Dragonridge Village in southern Kul-Tiras
- Now properly get Naj’entus instead of Illidari Horde
- Coilfang Reservoir base will first destroy legions outpost here, and only then spawn
- Akama got now as Ult a Aoe Silence Howl
- Akama starting strength increased to 21 from 18
- Akama strength per level buffed to 2.50 from 2.00 and agility per level increased to 2.00 from 1.60


Fel Elves:

- Shadowsword Necrolyte basic armor to 3 from 0
- Valeera tooltips fixed
- Can establish a base in Falthrien Academy by approaching it with Kael
- Shadowsword Warlocks now summon Doom Guards instead of Fel Rays and cd to 25 from 20

Dalaran:
- Aegwynn Size increased to 25 from 16
- Aegwynn Mass Banishment duration on heroes from 7 to 5 and on units from 15 to 10
- Aegwynn will only spawn with 6 Councilor now instead of 8
- Kirin’tor Chain Lighting level 1 dmg nerfed to 150 from 250
- Spell Mastery will now require Broken Alliance
- Jainas Mass Arcane Shielding no longer requires Spell Mastery
- New Dalaran movement speed reduced to 160 from 210
- New Dalaran inside can now be attacked and core health down to 1500 from 3500
- Kirin tor had their destroy gateway removed
- Gravity Flux can no longer ensnare heroes
- Limited Dalaran Constructs to 8 from 9
- Siege Golems now have the same speed as Dalaran Constructs
- Arcane Generators will now be unavailable for New Dalaran
- Fade has been removed from Tirisfal Agents
- Chains of banishment description fixed
- Battle Magus use now black gunpowder upgrade instead of piercing magic


Worgen

- Worgen Knight only cost 25 gold now from 35
- Lycanthropic Empowerment increase hp of units by another 50
- Son of Arugal Human health increased to 1400 from 1020
- Son of Arugal Human can now use Lycanthropic Regeneration
- Lycanthropic Regeneration cooldown changed to 15 seconds from 20 seconds
- Son of Arugal Worgen use a new Worgen Rage that will give them 60% attack speed instead of 30% and 50% movement speed instead of 25%
- Son of Arugal Worgen dmg increased to 40 from 30
- Son of Arugal Worgen health increased to 1200 from 1020
- increased starting mana of son of arugal to 250 from 180 and max mana to 400 from 300
- Normal worgen dmg increased to 23 from 18
- Units affected by Pack Bond increased to 6 from 4
- Wolf Cult follower no longer requires Taldoren
- Goldrinn is now a permanent hero but his level require to summon got increased to level 12
- Goldrinn Base DMG decreased to 150 from 200
- Goldrinn got now a inventory
- Darius starting strength increased to 25 from 19
- Darius Nights Shadow is now on D. He got a new Q spell - “Go for the Throat”, that will buff the movement speed of Worgen units
- Location of Smugglers for Elunes Scythe quest has been moved to around Vordrassil
- Druid of the Scythe Health increased to 850 from 650
- Druid of the Scythe Bear form health increased to 1600 from 1350



Ironforge:

- Gryphons hp reduced by 100.
- Removed Lightning bolt ability from Wildhammer Shaman to give them back auto-spell on Q spot.
- Dwarven keep towers have a maximum cap of 6 instead of 8.
- Now control the Menethil Harbor instead of Lordaeron
- Bear Riders limited to 12 from 10, same for beast tamers
- Guild Adventurer gold cost increased to 60 from 50
- Ironforge Gate health increased to 12500 from 10000 and armor to 15 from 10
- Changed the way how Gnomish Land Mines works to the same with Dalaran Rune Ward and hotkey to Q
- Flare on Mortars hotkey to W
- Beast Tamer now use Resistant Skin
- Flying Machines base damage increased to 26 and cd from 1.5 to 1.2. Their attack range increased to 600
- Beast Tamer health decreased to 1500 from 1600 base but dmg increased to 35 from 27
- Cannon tower damage reduced to 80 from 89. Note: this change applies only to base cannon towers, and not to improved ones.
- Siege mode from siege tank damage decreased to 67 from 77 and range decreased to 900 from 1100
- Magni Strength has been reduced by 7
- Warhammer of Khaz Modan tooltip fixed
- Menethil Harbour is now controlled by Dwarves
- New! No longer starts with gryphons and Falstad in Aerie Peak, they moved to Wildhammer path. Instead of him you can obtain Gelbin Mekkatorque after taking Gnomeregan, and who has following spells:
  • Q - Gnomish Death Rays
  • W - EMP
  • E - Repair Drones
  • R - Gunfire



New event/subpath for Ironforge path :

“Unite the Clans” :
- Require Broken Alliance.
- Require Council of Three Hammers for the research to be visible in any Town halls.
- Cost 150 gold and 150 lumber.

Description : “In order to save the Dwarven race from the major threats of the evil forces, the dwarven leaders vows to fully trust each other. The Council pledge the full strength of Ironforge, Aerie Peak and Shadowforge City to the Alliance cause.”



Effects of the event :

- The Dark Iron betray path is locked.
- The Wildhammer path is locked.
- The faction is renamed “Dwarves”.
- Riflemen are replaced with Iron rogue (Dark Iron rifleman).
- Unlock gryphons with lightning chain. (Limited to 6)
- Unlock Wildhammer Shaman with dispel.
- Dwarven Keep Towers are now Improved Dwarven Keep Towers who have +100 Health and are limited to 8 instead of 6
- Give Moira a new T spell (Replace the summoning of Ragnaros) :

Heir of the two thrones (Moira new T spell) : “Moira is using the influence of her son, the heir of both Ironforge and Shadowforge City, to inspire her fellows dwarves. Healing the nearby units for 250 HP. Does not affect allies, only dwarves units. Require Ironforge alive. 60 sec CD.”

- Reforge the Hammer of the High King as a symbol of the clans newfound unity :

Hammer of the High King :
(Bound to Moira, replace the workers summon)
  • +5 to all stats. (Strength of Bronzebeard, Agility of Wildhammer and Intelligence of Dark Iron)


Wildhammer:

- Wildhammer Shamans now benefit from Power Infusion upgrade, which was added to Gryphon Aviary
- Wildhammer Thane now use Black Gunpowder upgade instead of Iron Swords

Dark Iron Dwarves:

- Dark Iron Sorcerer now properly benefit from priest upgrade and from Power Infusion

Ranger Corps:

- New capital : Falconwing Square, Silvermoon separated to two parts, west for Rangers, east for Silvermoon.
- Enchanter gold cost increased to 15 from 10
- Starts with 2 workers in Quel’Thalas
- Archer’s “Stealth mode” and Halduron’s “Strafe” tooltips fixed

Forsaken:

- Nathanos will no longer transfer to Scourge or Lich King

Sentinel:

- Adden new icon for Priestess (unit)

Regency : Renamed as Silver Covenant, tooltips and event has been reworked to be more lorewise.

  • This path is now only available when Red betrayed to either Fel elves or Sunfury

  • Sylvanas is no longer revivable with Silver Covenant path

  • Rommath is no longer available as Silver Covenant, will be given later to Red player in future patch
- Ultravision now don’t require unexisting upgrade
- Fixed bug when you were able to train Acolytes in Andorhal
- Key of the three moons does not summon lynxes anymore.


Silverhand:

- Rally Cathedral heal decreased to 400 from 700 and cooldown decreased to 240 from 300
- Healing Wave heal decreased to 150 from 250
- Tirions Ashes for Ashes will now be based on a Fan of Knive spell instead of a trigger
- Added market to Stratholme
- Readded Draenei Priestess texture
- Leopold model changed back to peasant archer, his Dust of Appearance hotkey moved to W from Y and his Ensnare on E from W, also Ensnare now lasts 3 seconds on heroes. In addition to this, Leopold got 2 basic hero armor up from 0 light, and his attack range increased by 100 to a total of 700 with upgrade
- Mograines Legacy got some unit changes. Will now use a new elite - Disciple of the Ashbringer. Spells:
  • Q Holy Light
  • W Pulverize
  • E Anti Piercing Plating
  • R Avenging Wrath.
- Knight will be similar to the scarlet onslaught version but now with a self heal that needs to be casted instead of reincarnation
- Inquisitors replaced by Scarlet Oracle who got spirit link instead of holy vision but weaker stats then inquisitors
- Will no longer get Scarlet Marksman
- Lightbringer Saidan has Resurrection as ultimate now
- Mograines Legacy gold cost increased to 300/150 from 100/0
- Paladin tooltip fixed
- Holy arrows tooltip fixed
- Righthous Empowerment tooltip fixed
- Chastise tooltip fixed


Lordaeron:

- Footman's hp increased by 100 and armor by 2
- Lordaeron Footman's hp increased by 150 and armor by 1
- Lordaeron Cleric basic armor from 4 to 2
- 15 gold cp in Arathi Highlands now belongs to Lordaeron from the start
- Armored Archer tooltip fixed, and they have 2 basic armor now
- Albatross on Daelin and Tandred mana cost decreased to 25 from 50
- Jaina won’t have Mass Arcane Shielding when transfered to Lordaeron
- Once Plague starts, our Lord and Saviour Garithos together with loyal army will step forward in the Capitol city to save the besieged people of Lordaeron in the darkest of times !
- Lumber Mill next to the capital now has 2 workers
- Kassan’s net duration reduced by 1 second
- Sea Guards collision reduced to 15
- No longer controls Menethil Harbour

Scourge:

- Will no longer get Deathknights for killing LB Paladins

Scourge and Legion:

Scourge:

- Obsidian Statue wood cost to 15 from 35 and building time to 7 from 12

Burning Legion:

- Detherocs Fel Rain cooldown to 18 seconds
- Fel Reavers are back to legion
- Summon Kazzak is back, and now people have to manually open portals again
- Pitlord gold cost increased to 90 from 75
- Heal on Eredar Sorcerers is now autocastable by default
- Fel Guards are available to train on Lesser Demon Portals
- Enthropic Pain on succubus cd to 7 from 1 (in order to have more time to disable this ability if you want to use dispel more)
- Return to the Master will only work once now
- Demon Vault can be produced from the start now

Dark Horde:

- Now starts in Hellfire Citadel again, and it’s defences has been reinforced. The Citadel itself also has 9500 hp from 7500
- Firegut immolation deal 10 damage up from 3 now
- Felsworn basic armor from 2 to 3
- Black Temple cp changes to 25
- Smoulderthorn Priest does not cost wood anymore
- Orange no longer has fel reavers
- Pitlord gold cost increased to 90 from 75
- Shattered Hand Elite gold cost increased to 70 from 60
- Unholy Shield and empowered blade no longer require blackrock spire or black temple unholy shield will still be removed when blackrock is destroyed
- Nefarian summon require reduced to Level 12 from Level 15

Illidari:

- Twin Glaives of Azzinoth do not drops upon death now
- Will get Orc Spearthrowers back when going illidari

Shadow Council:
- Ogre Magi limited to 12 from 8
- Shadow Necrolyte basic armor from 0 to 3
- Amount of units that K’uru can teleport increased to 90 from 60 (will now teleport the entire army)

Alterac:

- Alterac Tower now pays 20g each turn if controlled (only for Syndicate and Alterac)
- Shadow minion summon basic damage from 10 to 16
- Summon Shadow minion cd decreased to 80 from 120 and mana cost from 120 to 95
- New! Lord Falconcrest can now establish a base on ruins of Stromgarde keep
- Assassin health increased to 1000 from 800
- Shadow Necrolyte basic armor to 2 from 0
- Mind Rot cannot be casted on your own or allied units anymore

- Alterac now starts with a shop


Cult of the Damned

- Stonespine Death Strike changes:
Poison periodic damage from 10/30/45/60 to 15/25/35/50
Initial damage from 100/180/290/370 to 125/175/210/270
Movement speed factor from 0.25 to 0.20
Duration on non-hero units from 15.10 to 7
- Deathwhisper Death Grip changes:
Duration on non-hero units from 8/14/20/20 to 3/3/4/4
Effect attachment point from origin to chest (should be more visible now)
- Gravemute got another ico
- Patchwork ultimate now available from lvl 10 and has two levels.
- Normal Kelthuzad got now Animated Dead instead of Shade of Naxxramas
- Can now do a powerful research replacing Arch Necromancers with Liches instead of a Sacrifice spell

Dragonmaw Clan:

- New! Zuluhed now starts in new Shadowmoon base from below Black Temple. The base will turn hostile once Dragonmaw player goes betrayal path.
- Dragonmaw Enforcer gold cost increased to 70 from 60
- Fel Orc Warlock basic armor to 3 from 2 and collision to 15
- Necrolyte basic armor to 3 from 0
- Mind Rot cannot be casted on your own or allied units anymore
- Necropic Blaze duration from 4 to 10 seconds
- Dragon Breath Cannon is now affected by Armor upgrades
- Can now train Proto Drakes after 15 minutes without need of a research

Twilight Hammer Clan:

Black Dragonflight:

- Drakkisath Curse of Grim Batol W changed, it will now prevent any kind of attacks instead of working like a drunken haze

Bug Fixes :

- Rhonin book of medivh should work now
- Draenei fleeing event fixed and tested. If draeneis were successful, they will tp out from Netherstorm keep while units outside it will turn hostile. If Muru has been taken before she could save draeneis, then all draeneis will turn hostile.
- Lvl shards shouldn’t appear in the center of map anymore
- Lordaeron Capital can not be rebuilded/destroyed by doing research in it anymore

The Bug fixes mostly include major ones there are also minor bug fixes and i hope nothing all to major will appear HF with the version

Why so many nerfs to dwarves? The 4v1 is already impossible to win south... If anything all of this needed to be buffed.

Why so many nerfs to dwarves? The 4v1 is already impossible to win south... If anything all of this needed to be buffed.
If you're fighting 1v4 then your team clearly doesn't know its a team game.

Trust me, it could have been far worse.

I suggested some nerfs to balance gryphons who were too much tanky for example, but there are some others nerfs that I just don't understand :

Like the siege mode is quite useless now.
Magni strength reduced for no reason (Moghor is now stronger than Magni despite Moghor being revivable).
And the loss of the creeps in the Hinterlands (No more falstad and gryphons to take the cp/creeps), which impact greatly the early income.

But why not, if people can't understand that yellow can 1v1 early orange and brown and must be avoided before the first 15 min.

The only thing I found unfair is why every casters of the legion team has more armor ?

LTF 0.56a Changelog

Took me a bit longer sry for that this patch will try to fix some of the bugs and problems people encounter like no mining as dwarves or double cult base bug. I CANT promise tho that it is complete bug free now when you find still some weird bugs feel free to report. I also disabled the hide hero storage trigger for now cause apperantly it bugged out sometimes and heroes dont unhide when changing owner i hope it wont cause problems

Additonal there are some minor balance changes


The Grand Alliance:

Silvermoon:
  • Lor’themar base health buffed to 500 from 300

Dalaran:

  • Spell Mastery only requires 20 minutes now instead of Broken Alliance
  • Dalaran and Guard Towers are no longer spell immune

Worgen

  • Archers got their Magic Arrows back

Ironforge:

  • Reverted Magni strength nerf
  • Siege mode range reverted to 1100 from 900
  • Gelbin base stats buffed
  • Gelbin attack range increased to 700 from 600
  • Will now get control of Aerie Peak with united dwarves and falstad will be tied to that building without it hes unrevivable
  • Keegan health buffed to 1350 from 1150
  • Falstads Chain Lighting can no longer target structures and wards



Ranger Corps:
  • Lynx are no longer tied to Windrunner Spire

Silverhand:

  • Tirion got on W now Light's Blessing instead of Vessel of Light
  • Alexandros level is now based on Uthers Level

Scarlet Onslaught:

  • Crimson Knight gold cost reduced to 29 from 32
  • Scarlet Inquisitor gold cost reduced to 25 from 27

Lordaeron:

Legacy of lordaeron will now give a bonus lvl to Arthas instead of Garithos
  • Garithos will now appear after 15 minutes passed instead of Plague
  • Garithos lvls will now scale on Arthas
  • Galen primary Stat changed to Agility from Strength
  • Galen level buffed to 3 from 2
  • Galen will now wield the Trol’kalar item bound to him. It will grant a 40% Cleave and +5 to his Stats
  • Galen starting Agility increased to 20 from 13 and agility per level gain increased to 2.50 from 1.50


Alterac:

  • Nagaz lvl will now be based on vorpil





Bug Fixes :

  • Cult base fixed
  • Dwarven workers can mine goldmines again
  • Hopefully fixed heroes hiding
  • Fixed bug of sylvanas turning when killed by old gods

Some small B version with minor changes and fixing some bugs that came out as small plans for 0.57 we will focus to work on current paths that feel more weak and improve them + a focus to split the renegade team again

General:

- Quel’Thalas transfers has been refined to avoid possible bugs.
- Moved creeps in front of Yogg sarons gate to the Brundir Spawn.
- Faceless creep camp on the right of Azjol got moved closer to Brundir spawn.
- Moved Magnataur Creeps closer to Azjol entrance in Storm peaks.
- Factions of Great Alliance can no longer attack Runestones.

The Grand Alliance:

Ironforge:

- Earthen Ancestry will only affect Brann from the Heroes now and no longer Magni , Muradin and Falstad
- Earthen Ancestry will affect Flying Machines now
- Building in Ironforge have been slightly moved

Wildhammer:

- Dwarven Warriors will now be replaced by Wildhammer Warriors who will do more dmg then a normal Dwarven Warrior and got a 30% Berserk instead of Defend but got bit less health
- Added 6 Wildhammer Warriors to the spawn
- Beast Tamers now got Pulverize with a 20% chance to do 30 Damage

Silverhand:

- Lights Blessing Mana cost reduced to 60/80/100/120 from 100/120/140/160
- Militia Peasants can now unarm themselve to become usual workers again. (This will allow you to track idle workers.)
- Huntsman Leopold is now affected by Militant Faith upgrade

Scarlet Onslaught:

- Scarlet Priest basic armor from 0 to 2

Lordaeron:

- Marksmanship upgrade has been re added.
- Armored Archers are now affected by Legacy of Lordaeron and Marksmanship upgrade.

King Arthas:

- Heal from Inspire the Men ability reduced to 100 from 175
- Requirement for path has been changed to: King Terenas alive, Broken Alliance

Scourge and Legion:

Scourge:

- Soul Rot is no longer autocasted

Burning Legion:

- Eredar Sorcerer base armor from 0 to 2

Dark Horde:

- Felsworn base armor to 2 from 3
- Hungry Teron Gorefiend is no longer consuming 5 food
- Spearthrowers can now use Dragonbane nets which works only on air non hero units. Upgrade for them is locked behind Dark Horde mastery. (Will be unlocked to research if you went Illidari and haven’t done Mastery upgrade yet)
Note: Nets have a range of 400, you need to be very close to cast them.

Illidari:

- Going Illidari will now transfer your Blackrock and Kargath bases to Brown player
- Illidari Warlock base armor from 0 to 2

Cult of the Damned

- Added a 3 second ping at the spawn of Dar’Khan

Dragonmaw Clan:
- Warlock Archer collision size decreased to 15 from 16
- Necrolyte base armor to 2 from 3
- Fel Orc Warlock base armor to 2 from 3
- Warlock Fire upgrade cost decreased to 100/125 from 125/150
- Dragonmaw Enforcer (Elite unit) basic armor from 2 to 4
- Ma’ruk Wyrmscale basic armor from 2 to 4
