Why I love Lordaeron the Foremath

Do you think that creating Lordaeron the Aftermath was a wonderful idea?

So, it's been a while since I posted something on this forum, so I just wanted to share my feelings about the new Lordaeron game.
I have to say, that I like Lordaeron the Foremath more, than LTA. Why?
1) I am a big lover of the alliance and I love the feeling, that we didn't lose yet. I mean, in LTA you still can win, but Lordaeron is already destroyed. High Elves are decimated and Dalaran is in ruins. The only thing you can do is take your revenge and RESTORE your former glory.
But in Foremath, there's no need to RESTORE anything. You still have your glory, you still have your kingdoms. And if you fight well, you can change the history, so the bad things never happen to you. And I think that's awesome. I think, that it's awesome that you can keep Lordaeron fresh and healthy, prevent Scourge from corrupting it.
2) It's a fresh game, which brings a lot of new to already great concept. I love the idea, because it's pretty much our old, loved map but it is new and there are a lot of things to do.
3) Muradin fking Bronzebeard.
4) Arthas muthafkingn Menethil.
5) Uther muthafkingfuking Lightbringer.

And that's all, just wanted to share this with ya all. Please write what you adore most about this new, awesome map.
You can also compare LTA and LTF, that can be fun.

LTA is in my eyes currently better than LTF.
1. Because LTA is compared to LTF more balanced out (which hopefully might change, as we are still in Beta)
2. Because LTA is less of a competetive game. LTF can really hurt a lot if you start the game, one player of your team turns out to be a noob/disconnects/leaves instantly, while you're getting your ass wiped due to the mistake of another, putting it on a similiar stage like War in the Plaguelands where your team is either doomed when people leave/don't know what they're doing.
LTA has luckily more freedom.
3. Path choices, which were in LTA a game changer, are in LTF barely present, given that most people stick to their allies and don't want to split up, if they're on a good rampage of conquering the world. Thus most games feel similiar and it makes in my eyes most path choices obsolete, as the game tends to remain a 6v6. Events only happen during the late game, when Evil team wins over the good team and when Evil decides to split up.

LTF is currently better to me, and of course it was a great idea.
1) Better timeline and lore characters
2) More balanced - 6v6 so 50% to win hehe
3) No solo paths which means allies can help vs cp stealers, and also no too OP factions that are supposed to fight 3 etc..
4) Teamplay (especially if you're on TS/clan) - i mean the Alliance in LTA was always popular because of this.
5) Regular updates and things to look forward to.

i am not sure you know how balance works vido

just because its same amount of players per team does not make it balanced
legion team is much stronger then alliance
early game there might be a bit of push against legion but as legion heroes lvl up and get their insane aoe abilities they start to demolish alliance in every way

Oh i fought vs 2 evil flying heroes + mass air with poor dragonhawks so i know that Evil is stronger of course;
Just saying you have a higher chance to win, than playing regular LTA :D

I think its fine but when people from BOTR/UOS join a pub game while on TS gives them an advantage the plebs dont have. Whats your opinion on this?

Anyone can always stop being a pleb and get on teamspeak themselves.

Not really. It's mainly the players and their decisions, who matter, not really the talk. TS talk rather results in you getting too focused on stuff your allies talk, if you're not careful and it neither makes a difference in terms of teams.
You could probably put 6 players in a team against Arius, Vidovit, ilusioner, kp, Nale and UTL, while they aren't allowed to talk via Skype and they would nontheless have a higher chance to win.

What makes a difference is most times Clan-intern games VS pub-games, as randomers tend to be worse than Clan players, especially in LTF.
Harald's recent cast showed that pretty well, as Evil team had probably the noobiest Scourge player I've seen in a while (even I would play better and I'm terrible at Scourge in regular LTA!), while they also had a randomer on their team, who did better. Don't know if our Cult player was also a randomer, but he did okayish and also was a nice key support for ilusioner.
Basically that entire game was a 6v5 and only, because we really had bad luck regarding Blue. If Blue would have been a competent player from the Clan or at least a decent randomer, everything would have been fine.
Plus, it's already saying a lot if @mariusfurios did better in this game than Blue ever could have! (still congratulate you for this btw - you really held well, given the odds we faced).

Chatwise however there's no difference. Given by above example Gray neither did worse than the majority of us, while there were more communication problems on the TS between Evil and Yousef and Good and Buzan (sorry for highlighting these two out, but we need to work on examples here). With just chat communication it would have been either the same situation or worse.

Yeah, nobody denied it. Though I think Vidovit had a point when he said, that it would have been a short game, if Blue was a competent player. 0.05 Evil still was a strong faction nontheless.

Another memorable game, where we crushed an organized mass alliance, while it was semi-TS talk (given that you switched channels to their side and we talked via Chat):
Azeroth Wars Cast, where he, Arlt, Spam and Cynical formed a 4-man alliance against us and Red dropped out, so we two had to get things running.

You probably could have done it alone, I guess, given that I'm a terrible Blue (+first or second time in this version; still am used to Blue having an actual army instead of just casters and 3 demon gates for melee), but we kinda did this one as well.

2 days ago I played with blue who did only 1 thing in ENTIRE game......and it was starting civil war.
Instantly went Scourge only because I was feeling so bad for poor cult player.

LTF is LTA's retarded cousin.
Hero cant be blocked, unbalanced as fck, basically a roleplay map for those that wanted a good ending to RoC
