I've just been wondering, for example, why can't for example rate a comment with both dislike and agree at the same time?

Sometimes someone makes a valid criticism of something for example but does it in a childish and rude manner. I want to hit dislike for him being a douche-bag but I don't want to invalidate his point at the same time. The same thing works vice-versa, let's say some mapmaker makes a new patch that I don't think goes is in the right direction balance-wise. I want to disagree with the way he is going with the map but I also want to like for his effort in updating the map. Just dropping a disagree is kinda douchy.

The same thing can kinda work with the rating funny, someone might make a good joke about something but being totally wrong about it. Let's say a good joke with the old death knight Alexandros being OP. I want to rate funny and disagree at the same time. I really think Like+Dislike should not be mutually exclusive with Agree+Disagree. It's not a huge deal for a small community like ours as most type what they think instead of relying on commenting though it can be more convenient at times to just show your reaction with just rating instead of typing out.

What Baffles me is why the hell sites like Youtube or Reddit do not have something like this and only have Like/Dislike. I really don't understand. Sometimes, for example, a creator I like is wrong about something subjective in a video he made which he placed good effort and reasoning into. I want to let him know he is wrong about this so it can be good feedback for him/her in future videos but I don't want to dislike the video, especially since Youtube just vanishes the creator forever if you dislike a video. This is also really important as our ratings are what decides what other people will see. I know the comment section sorta is suppose to this but it's not always the case, especially as people don't usually bother to go comments and like/dislike something there.

I'm not asking to make this change for Warhaven as for a small community is not a big deal. Just some food for thought, especially since the old forums did not allow multiple ratings either.

We don't have a dedicated rating add-on so we can expand on the ratings overall which is why there isn't much innovation site wise, and as people don't use it that much we most likely won't be getting it soon. But you do have a valid point, but one of the reasons I think it's only like/dislike or one rating, its easier to do statistics on the content, if a X video has 90% dislikes it's probably for a reason, etc.
