SUMMARY:
As well as adding balance this patch also aims for quality of life changes and generally tidying up pointless or boring encounters. It is designed to make the game a little faster paced and reduce boring downtimes where nothing happens or endless, grindy battles. Some of the more tedious, pointless encounters have been removed or reworked into multiple choice encounters.
As well as this there are some major story encounters added which further hints at the Talonfang siblings origin story.

NEW CONTENT

- The Mordicant and Plague lord Bosses have been reworked into multiple choice options, The Priestess can chose whether to venture through the Old Mine Shafts and face the Mordicant or go through the mountain pass and battle the vile Plague Lord.
- NEW AREA: The Gypsy Travellers have set up camp within the Blackthicket Woods, but a terrible beast stalks them... Find and slay him and rid the world of his evil.
- New tier 4 Boots of speed has been added: "Legendary Pathfinder Boots"
- All items can now be sold for 100% of the original value (This may sound like a huge buff but it is required in order to encourage item exchanges at lower level. Currently, players only buy the essential items and any leftover gold is stored until they can buy their relic items, any item you buy means it takes longer to finally get your relic item. This change means players can experiment and play around with items without taking them further away from their ultimate goal of buying their relic item.)
- In order to balance this out, all standard bounties from zombies and bosses has been halved. (It is now even more important to share your items out evenly between you.)


BALANCE

- Players have less time at Crossroads village before the Butcher boss arrives, however the Fleshlord boss has less hp so is easier to slay.
- Plague lord boss has less HP but spawns more tentacles, tentacles have less range and HP.
- Cooldown on item resurrection book increased from 70 to 120. Restock time decreased from 3 minutes to 30 seconds. Number of units resurrected has been decreased by 1.
- Damage output on Priestesses Starshards has been buffed at all levels.
- Damage output of Sisters Relic bow ability has had a huge increase!
- All flesh claw tentacles have lower HP, making it more viable if you need to tactically clear a path through them.
- The Mordicant has less HP.
- The movement speed bonus value has been added into the description of each boots of speed item.
- At the final battle merchants gain increased defence, so they don't instantly die when the Vampyr comes.
- Bram the Bear has +500hp.
- Zombies within Mission 1: "Journey to Crossroads" have a slightly different spawn order.
- Players can no longer go ahead of the Priestess to gain the chests north of Crossroads village, if you want these chests you will need to take the risk of getting them after the zombies start spawnning.
- If Hellmode is active during Prime Bride battle then she will summon additional Mordicants and Vampire Handmaidens.
- Hellmode damage bonus increased from 50% to 75%
- Nightmare mode also increases movement speed by 25%.
- In order to reduce boring downtime between battles, the Priestess has zero cooldown on her revive ability during "Downtime Periods" after each boss fight. This is useful after a big boss fight and half your allies have died, Priestess can now bring them back quickly rather than just waiting around for the cooldown to expire. Previously, if all 5 of your guardians died it would have taken around 15 minutes of waiting until Priestess could have revived them all. Obviously, this does not effect normal combat where Priestess will have the usual cooldown on her revive spell.



CONTENT & GRAPHICS

- More blood added around base of tree at Widows wood encounter.
- Whichever player chooses the Mage will always be Purple color (Lore reasons.)
- Holy Archer has been renamed to "Paladin Archer" and the Sisterhood Archer has been renamed to "Sister of Hoeth".
- Mages Orbs spell has new effects.


BUG AND ABUSE FIXES

- Mages magic flux can also target ward type units.
- Blackthicket Militia should no longer treat Archbishop as an enemy.
- Level 9 of mages Celestial Golem spell now summons the correct golem type.
- Players can no longer kill the barrels near the Spider Queen boss event before actually killing the boss to use as a choke point.
- Some spelling errors have been fixed in tooltip descriptions.
- Guild Cannons can no longer be resurrected.
- Rifleman's Mirror Image spell has correct hotkey.
- Players can no longer position their troop units outside of the Graveyard at the Prime Vampire bridge fight and have them attack inwards. They will always be deposited within the Graveyard.
- Fixed Rune flicker bug in Guild and mage rune spell.
- Plague Lord will no longer sit around doing nothing.
- 4 minutes after Prime Vampyr Bride Graveyard battle is triggered bounty for killing zombies is turned off to stop players abusing to get gold.
- Every 1 minute after this the Vampyr Brides damage will double, making it very important to kill her quickly! (Cap is 8000 dmg)

And look at the MiniMap in the photo. I believe that the snowfield should not be entered at this time (Blame the Guildmaster and the gate)

Sixs Mordicants,Too much HP. How about just killing the bride.

I wanted to make the challenge more difficult. except for some difficult probles. Overall, the map is not challenging any more.

Anyway, I will challenge the highest difficulty with my friend who just lost power. But No Bugs plz(I can laugh at that for a year):oops::oops:

- Vampyr Bats no longer spawn at the Mordicant encounter, the other spawns now spawn slightly slower.
- Mordicants Blood Bolt will no longer 1 shot players.
- Vampyr Bats will now spawn at the Prime Bride Ambush enounter at the Windmill.
- Werewolf backstab damage has been decreased from 500 to 200.
- Priestess player now gets notified when downtime is active, also fixed a bug with revive not reseting its cooldown during downtime.
- Gold from killing both Vampyr Bride bosses increased from 75 to 100.
- If Priestess waits around too much before entering Frostguard Keep and talking to the Archbishop then a timer will appear, if this timer expires then the battle will begin anyway. (This is to stop players sending too long shoping before the final battle and keeps the game pace going.)
- Missile speed on Guildmasters Mortar spell has been increased.
- The Guildmaster gets Gunpowder mines as his starting item instead of the Repair kit (Kit can still be rbought from Vendors)
- 2 of the Paladin Archers abilities have been changed.
- The Priestess's automatic shield will now disable after the Brides enouncter.
- The Armorer now sells a new item: "Relic: Blessed Helm of Hoeth"
- New special effect when priestess dies.
- New special effect for Paladin Archers ultimate ability.
- Mages Orbs ability has a new effect and icon.

I'm sorry but not sure I understand, are you saying the map is still too easy even on Hell mode? How much more difficult do you need it :eek:

I'm not sure how I can make the map any more difficult on Hellmode, apart form making the zombies have more HP but that could just make map last forever. Admittedly I play with randoms on Bnet most of the time, but the only mode I have managed to complete the map on is Normal Mode and that was with an experienced team.

General Issues:
- Maybe add explanation about hell/nightmare modes? Like in F9 at least.
- I guess F9 information is really a bit outdated right now.
- Felbat bonus boss is available only on Hell Mode right? Maybe add info about that.

Balance Issues:
- I think or Ressurection books have been too heavily nerfed? Like 120 seconds for 3 corpses seems a bit... to much
- Some Books lvl 2 are not worth upgrading, like Gravesight Book (Summoning slayed Heroes). Its not even changing except the gold cost of the book or like +1 ressurected corpse to the book? Seems like discouraging to upgrade them, I'd rather upgrade Inferno Book which gives 3k wave damage (holy shit) up from 450.
- I think or Mordicant Boss (in the Mine) is a bit too powerful comparing to the Plague Lord? I have a suspicion that he wasn't balanced when was transfered from later game stage to more earlier.
- Why Gem dealers don't sell Life Gems (+100 HP, as I remember) but you can receive them as a drop from barrels/chests.

Bugs:
- I think that chests are supposed to drop Staff of Purification, a custom staff worth for 550 gold instead of Staff of Negation a vanilla wc3 item worth for 200 gold (now they drop Staff of Negation)
- Is it that chest even reachable?

- Knight units don't have disabled icon in the umm... Outpost? Which crossroads you to either to the Plaguelands or to the Mine.
- Tooltip of new item - minor grammar error

- The Optional Quest about finding refugees (First Village Defence stage), it says Found Refugee 1/3, then 2/3, then.... nothing? I guess its a bug and must be either changed to 2/2 or just add another refugee XD
- Second Bible of Hoeth (+15 to stats) doesn't have tooltip about refreshing cooldowns, but in fact it does it.

It is difficult to beat some bosses.They move fast,have lots of ATK and HP. Like the three sisters and the final boss.when the boss comes, you don't have time for other zombies. It's the only chance the zombies can beat us. But if they don't have the help of other zombies they become easily defeated(Same for zombies without bosses). Thats why i said it wasn't difficult enough. Or another way ot describe it: Unless it is against the three sisters and the final boss, the whole game is boring(Boring means that the game is too simple).
My first game,dies in church, I'm confused. I don't think it should be this bad, because I am the player of all your maps.
I keep watching and playing. Patterns are found. Zombies have low movement speed . But not our Heroes on ZR. They can retreat and attack at the same time.(Including in hell mode) So no amount of zombies is threatening.


First,I think you have a problem that you have to slove. The more zombies there are, the more stagnation there will be. But you can set up multiple players, Each AI controls some zombies. This solves the stagnation problem caused by too many zombies. (Please excuse my poor English)
Second, My suggesion is to give the hero more ATK. Heroes rely too much on skill. But the ATK is only against small zombies,Not strong zombies or bosses.(Set attack and armor coefficients,Add different types. or you can set negative value of armor)
Thirdy, A particularly difficult version . We'll have a challenge, even if no one can beat zombies.:cool::cool: But No more Zombies' HP And What Purple words say plz;)
